Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his role in the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. From the time he was in university Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television have gained him a lot of recognition. He can play each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. This is what makes him so popular. He played the part of a serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective.
